It was another hot day at Mohali. The temperatures are a constant "too highs" at the place with hot breezes all around. It is pleasantly cold inside the Institute with air-conditioning. But once you step out, it feels like a heat shock to the competent cell. .
The day was all about plotting Standard curve for amylose estimation using potato amylose. It had to be repeated quite a number of times as the results were fluctuating each time. Nevertheless, the job was not tiring because every mistake made, taught a new lesson. During the job, mostly fluctuations could arise due to minute pipetting errors or due to concentration changes of the solutions being used. So, we had to try different combinations of concentration of solutions for carrying out the same reaction. Hoping to find better results tomorrow.
