On the last day of fourth week, today,
1. I can prepare a good electrophoresis gel (3% ) : came a long way from Day 8 where I expressed my dissappointment on not being able to prepare it.
2. Learnt to prepare PCR reaction mixture better than what I did before 10 days. Good amplifications results as on today.
3. Better understanding on SSR Markers and practical knowledge about F1 and F2 generations of Mapping populations.
4. Improved Pipetting technique with less errors.
5. Can handle instruments such as Spectrophotometer, PCR thermal Cycler (with temperature gradient cycles), Gel Documentation system, pH meters, Magnetic stirrer, Vortex machines, spinners and centrifuges.
