Screening of new primers to identify more ssr markers. Today, screened around 34 more markers.
PCR reactions are carried using these markers keeping in mind their Tm (Melting Temperature) of the primer. All the primers having same Tm go into one PCR plate while the others have to be carried out in another PCR cycler.
One of the Research scholar in our team designed an experiment to find whether the plants respond to how people treat them. 6 of us were given few seeds individually in a small packet. We are told to speak to these seeds for a whole week after which they will be germinated and sown for growth . 3 of us will be speaking negative and harshly with their seed samples while the other three will be speaking positive with love and affection. Their physiological and chemical changes will be studied after their growth.
