Things learnt today:
1. Metaphor agarose is used for making electrophoresis gels along with agarose because it gives two times better resolution as compared to simple agarose gels when imaged.
2. 6X gel loading dye's name: Bromophenol blue(0.25%), xylene cyanol(0.25%) (most of us couldn't answer this question during viva ).
3. Performed PCR for 94 F2progeny of mapping population.
4. Gel Electrophoresis
5. Observed how to use spectrophotometer for taking the O.D values of samples.
6. Learnt the procedure for making Standard plot for estimation of amylose from wheat starch.
